What Is The Rapsploitation Era

Hip Hop culture also referred to as Rap is a multi-billion dollar art form that was created on the principles of peace, unity and having fun. Hip Hop's legendary stars were young charismatic, creative and smart and they displayed these qualities through their music.

Born in the Bronx of New York City, Hip Hop grew up fast and quickly spread all over the world. Rising out of poverty and depression Hip Hop challenged its audience to seek knowledge and be creative. The art form spoke directly to the urban communities and gave them a sense of hope.

Eventually major corporations began to gain a controlling interest in Hip Hop record companies and as a result; the music started becoming more formulaic and materialistic and les creative and conscious. Ultimately, corporate greed and a new breed of artists (many whom displayed little knowledge of the art forms history) spawned what we now call the Rapsplotation Era.

Rapsploitation is the exploitation of Hip Hop for corporate greed & selfish gain. The rapsploitation era officially began on September 11th, 2001 also known as 9/11. The controversial and tragic day of 9/11 shook America and also brought about the desecration of Hip Hop culture.

The Rapsploitation Era has dumb downed the rap audience through the birth of a nation filled with Hip Hop Idiots, Jigga-Boo's and Sambo's. But shortly after 9/11 a prophecy was revealed that predicted in the Spring of 2010 a Superfly Thug would instantaneously emerge with a 9 minute, 11 second (9/11) video titled Every Hero Needs A Theme Song.

With the help of Sparky Flinstone the Superfly Thug has arrived and is ready to join forces with anyone ready to go beyond the next level. A student of the art form and soon to become a Master, Mongo Slade is the Superfly Thug and his debut album Superfly Thug.... The Rapsploitation Era will inspire people all over the world and change the game.
